  • Agreed Pete, with CTA Can't Buy A Thrill is one of the very best debut records. I saw them live first in 1974 with The Doobie Bros with Jeff Skunk Baxter on guitar. Not a duff record, as you say another loss perhaps less of a headline name but Fagen & Becker are up there with the best songwriters and arrangers of the last 45 years.
  • Another tough loss. Becker and Fagan were timeless. Fortunately I got to see them a few times, most recently last year. Aja was as close to a perfect album as it gets.
